COP28

COP28, the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference, will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from November 30 to December 12, 2023. The conference will be a critical opportunity for countries to take stock of their progress on the Paris Agreement and to make new commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The first Global Stocktake (GST) will be conducted at COP28, which will provide a comprehensive assessment of progress since adopting the Paris Agreement. The COP28 Presidency will work to ensure that the world responds to the GST with a clear plan of action.
